Fletchers' Family Farm

On her morning rounds, Liz takes a moment to appreciate the life the family have built on the farm, but their peaceful routine is interrupted when calf Elizabeth develops a worrying wheeze. Fearing pneumonia, the illness that claimed beloved Cherry last year, Kelvin and Liz call in vet Hugo to investigate. Meanwhile, with the pigs gone, the family begin transforming the old pig field into a vegetable patch. Kelvin puts the tractor to work, but it soon breaks down, leaving the family to finish the job by hand. After hours of hard work, the field is transformed into a beautifully prepared bed, ready for leeks, cabbages, carrots and potatoes. With the Cheshire Show fast approaching, Marnie also completes her training with orphan lamb Hope. After weeks of practice, the pair are ready to take on the show ring, giving the family another exciting milestone in a busy farming year.
