Fletchers' Family Farm

It's a busy time on the farm as the family prepares pigs for the butcher, ready to become sausages for their stall at the Royal Cheshire Show. But Liz's plans are interrupted when she discovers an injured hen that has been badly pecked by the cockerel. She takes the bird to her friend Debbie, a chicken expert, who gives it some much-needed care before it returns to the farm sporting a rather stylish accessory. With Liz away, Kelvin enjoys a day with the boys, who get stuck into farm life as they help feed the pigs and build a new chicken coop. Liz also finds time for a quieter job, creating seasonal hanging baskets to brighten up the holiday cottage. But there's a bigger problem in the front field, where flooding has put planting on hold. Liz and Kelvin bring out the digger to find a blocked drain and get the water flowing again, with crops waiting to go into the ground.
